Clinicare is a 365-day-a-year family health clinic located within Broaddus Hospital. Qualified family practice physicians, physician assistants and nurses offer immediate healthcare services. Patients benefit from modern consultation rooms, proximity of laboratory, X-ray and emergency services. Patients are welcome by appointment or for immediate needs.


Affordable healthcare services
CliniCare accepts most insurance plans and participates in federal and state programs that offer healthcare services for free or at reduced rates.


Family practice clinic
CliniCare staff diagnose and treat family members of all ages. By knowing all family members' histories and current conditions, they are better able to care for everyone in the family.


Women's Health Clinic
Services of the Women's Health Clinic at CliniCare include information on early detection of breast and cervical cancers, clinical breast exams, mammograms, pap tests and pelvic exams, colposcopy and biopsy when necessary and treatment referrals when needed. The clinic participates in the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening program that offers free or low-cost services to women who qualify. Obstetricians, Gynecologists, and nurse-midwives of Women's HealthCare also see patients by appointment at Broaddus Hospital. For information, see Women's HealthCare


Children's services
CliniCare also participates with a number of programs that help children get off to a healthy start. The West Virginia Children's Health Insurance Program, Vaccines for Children Program, Pediatric Health Services Program and Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment Program provide a range of preventative and primary health services to children who meet the guidelines of the program.


Medicaid-eligible services
The Physicians Assured Access System (PAAS) ensures care from a primary physician for Medicaid-eligible participants.
