Welcome to Broaddus Hospital Broaddus Hospital is the main component of the Broaddus healthcare complex. Designed for patients' comfort, confidentiality, and dignity, the complex houses facilities for acute and long-term care, emergency, specialty and family medicine, diagnostic and rehabilitative services, and CliniCare, a walk-in clinic open every day of the year.

These rooms have state-of-the-art equipment for patient care, including telemetry monitoring. A staff of RN's, LPN's, PCA's and other health professionals team in the care of medical patients from pediatric to geriatric. Inpatient services include, but are not limited to, internal nutrition and nutrition assessments, patient education and patient/family counseling, intake/output monitoring, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/swallowing therapy. Emergency services around the clock Around-the-clock emergency service by our compassionate, qualified staff can help you feel at ease during emergency situations. If additional hospital care is needed, patients may be admitted into Broaddus Hospital's inpatient care unit, or transported to another regional hospital via emergency medical services and HealthNet helicopters. Physical therapy and rehabilitation Specialists in physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy treat a wide range of conditions and disorders with the goal of returning patients to their maximum level of productivity. Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy are available for both inpatients and outpatients. Diagnostic and other technology The healthcare complex includes an in-house pharmacy; comprehensive laboratory services, including hematology, phlebotomy, chemistry, microbiology and blood bank services; diagnostic radiology services including X-ray, CT scan, ultrasounds, fluoroscopy, and certified mammography, and teleradiology equipment allowing physicians to transmit X-rays to and confer with radiology specialists. |
