Welcome to the Cancer Care Center

The Davis Memorial Hospital Cancer Care Center offers medical and radiation treatment for adults in a modern facility. Physicians, registered nurses and certified radiation therapists provide outpatient chemotherapy and radiation therapy, nutrition counseling, pain management, and support services.

The Center features a state-of-the-art linear accelerator, conveniences such as computerized treatment planning, and extras such as windows and home-like furnishings, and cable in each patient room. Davis Memorial Hospital provides necessary pathology, laboratory, radiology surgical and prescription services.Special services include the "I Can Cope" and "Look Good, Feel Better" programs, patient and family education, a patient library, wig bank, and support group.

Look Good, Feel Better cancer program

Cancer patients are invited to Look Good, Feel Better, through a program co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the Davis Memorial Hospital Cancer Care Center. Participants learn beauty techniques in skin care, makeup, hair and nails using actual products, and have demonstrations in the use of wigs, hats, turbans and scarf tying techniques.
