Wound Care

The wound care center at Davis Memorial provides comprehensive wound evaluation and treatment. A wide variety of populations are served including patients with: burns, pressure ulcers, arterial insufficiency, venous insufficiency, neuropathic ulcers, traumatic and post operative wounds. A variety of modalities are available including whirlpool, pulsatile lavage, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, Unna boots, compression wrapping, pneumatic compression, and debridement. Other services available are on-site wound culturing, diabetic foot inspections, patient/caregiver education, measuring/fitting for compression garments and exercise program development.
